Does anyone else feel tension between this post by pastor Doug Wilson (on Bishop N.T. Wright’s views toward third world debt) and this Doug Jones’ post on Dinesh D’Souza?

I should mention that I know nothing about economics and when I give my two cents on the subject it means I’m in debt to someone else for three. Having said that, however, it seems like the ABCs of Christianity for the rich (i.e. the U.S.) to help the poor (i.e. third world nations) and forgiving third world debt seems a very basic step in doing so.
