I don’t know why I am surprised you’re down with this New Pornographer, or maybe its disappointment that I do not get to say, ” Hey, Remy, you should check out Neko Case,” without you being able to say, “I’m way ahead of you, man.” She is one of the finer female vocalists of our time…existing in the atmospheric reverb of a room like wisps of cigarette smoke and appreciating the weight of an amplified breathe much like Patsy Cline. Notice her fondness of the minstrel’s four-string. It doesn’t hurt that its a really popular time to be a hot redhead either. AND she is single handedly campaigning for the rebirth of harmony 30-years after Emmylou.
