Notes:
2000: admittedly Crouching Tiger has aged the poorest.
2002: argument could be made for Chicago, but Two Towers was the worst of the trilogy and it would be unfair to tag the other two and not this one. Gangs of New York was robbed.
2003: I haven’t seen Seabiscuit, but my wife tells me that it was sappy, though well made. Lost in Translation was robbed.
2007: There Will Be Blood was robbed.

2000: correct
2001: dead wrong – Gosford Park or even ABM
2002: Chicago by a MILE
2003: Master and Commander
2004: Gotta go with Sideways, even though I enjoyed it (this was the toughest year, by far)
2005: Brokeback by another mile
2006: Letters to Iwo Jima
2007: You might actually be right about this, since this is the 2nd toughest year. I’m surprised you didn’t say Juno.
The worst out of the worst is definitely Chocolat which is one of my most hated movies of all time. I can at least agree with your picks of what movies got robbed. Good call.

2000: I know, I’m like that
2001: I liked Gosford Park, but I think I was making out with Bethany for most of it…
2002: Let’s agree: Photo finish
2003: I’ll never watch Master and Commander nor LotR: tRotK ever again, so in that sense I’ll say “tie”.
2004: Sideways is still one of the funniest movies you’ve ever seen, it’s Ray, dude, I promise.
2005: Was it that bad or was it b/c the parodies were so good? Crash wishes it were Magnolia.
2006: I didn’t like Letters that much either, but Babel was a bloody mess.
2007: at least Juno, however insipid, style had some style.
